BLESSED MARY & JESUS, THE MESSIAH
IN THE LAST TESTAMENT AL-QUR’AN

Miraculously Almighty GOD helped the mother and the son and provided infant Jesus the power to speak. Such an infant Jesus speaking at such a tender age is his distinctive trait, unparralled in the history of all the prophets. This special privilege to Jesus, the Messiah, son of Mary the Virgin, is narrated in the following verses.

“Jesus announced from the lap of Virgin Mary: “Behold, I am a slave of ALLAH, HE has vouchsafed unto me the Scripture and made me a prophet. And made me blessed wherever I may be. And HE has enjoined upon me prayers and charity-works as long as I am alive. And HE has commanded me to do best behavior to my mother. And HE has commanded me not to be arrogant and haughty. And peace be on me on the day I was born, and the day I die and the day I shall be raised to life again in the hereafter.”That is Jesus, son of Virgin Mary, A statement of whole truth, about whose nature they deeply disagree. It is not conceivable that ALLAH should have taken unto HIMself a son: Limitless is HE in HIS Glory! When HE decrees a creation to be, HE just says unto it, ‘Be’ – and it has to be. And thus it was that Jesus always said: ‘Verily, ALLAH is my Sustainer as well as your Sustainer; so worship none but HIM: this is the only straight way.’” (Chapter 19 verse 30 to 36)

(From Holy Qur'an 19/30-36)

Almighty GOD HIMself taught Jesus, and his mission and deeds are described in the following words.

“And O Mary, GOD will impart to your son, heavenly revelation and wisdom, and The Torah and The Gospel.” (Chapter 3 verse 48)

(From Holy Qur'an 3/48)

“And will appoint him a messenger to the children of Israel.” Saying; “I have come to you with miraculous sign from your Sustainer. I design for you out of clay, in the shape of a bird, and then I blow in it, so that it will become a bird by ALLAH’s leave; and I heal the blind-by-birth and the leper, and give life to spiritually dead, by ALLAH’s leave: and I let you know what you may eat and what you should store up in your houses. Behold, in all this, there is indeed message for you, if you believe.” (Chapter 3 verse 49)

(From Holy Qur'an 3/49)

Then there is a strong denial of his crucifying or death on the cross. The Jews and the then government could not crucify him, neither hurt him, but Almighty GOD lifted him up and the person crucified was not Jesus, but the doubt in this regard was put by GOD in the hearts of opponents of Jesus and they did not succeed in killing him nor crucify him. The narration is as under.

“And the boastful claim of Jews: “We have slain the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, (who claimed to be) the messenger of ALLAH!” However, they did not slay him, and neither did they crucify him, but it only appeared to them as if it had been so; and confused, having no real knowledge thereof, and following mere conjecture. No, it is certain they did not kill him, but ALLAH exalted him unto HIMself – and ALLAH is indeed Almighty, Wise.”(Chapter 4 verse 157, 158)

(From Holy Qur'an 4/157-158)

“And ALLAH said: “O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause your term on earth to end, and exalt you unto ME, and take you away from blasphemous people, denying the truth; and I shall place your followers far above the deniers, till the Day of Resurrection. In the end, to ME will be your return, and I shall decide among you the matters which you used to dispute.” (Chapter 3 verse 55)

From Holy Qur'an 3/55)
