Bani-Israel,
Not JEWS
“O
children of Israel! Remember those blessings of MINE with which
I graced you, and I favored you above all other people;”
(From
Holy Qur'an 2/47)
The
Final Testament, Holy Qur’an, in the beginning addresses
the Bani-Israel, first with reference to your great past and
then goes on recounting the favors of GOD on you in taking you
to the exalted heights. The chain of Prophets was there in Bani-Israel
to guide you as and when it was needed. Almighty GOD withdrew
HIS favor when the Bani-Israel faltered totally from the Doctrine
of Abraham the monotheist. But the same Doctrine, Almighty GOD
revealed and said in the Final Testament chapter 16 verse 123:
“And
lastly, WE have inspired you O Muhammad: ‘Follow the Doctrine
of Abraham, who turned away from all that is false, and was
not of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside The One GOD.”
(From
Holy Qur'an 16/123)
Precisely
speaking, I request you all to study the Holy Revelations directly
in its heavenly language, without any Muslim interpretation.
I hope Insha-Allah; the same greatness shall knock on your doors
as happened in the past.
More
often in the Qur’an, you are addressed as Bani-Israel
and Ahlal Kitab, means Children of Israel or People of the Book.
Now which Book is it any way? The Qur’an says in chapter
5 verse 44:
“Verily,
it is WE who bestowed from on high the Torah, wherein there
is Divine Guidance and Light. On its strength did the Prophets,
who had surrendered themselves unto ALLAH, deliver judgment
unto those who followed the Jewish faith; and so did the Godly
persons and the rabbis……. , O children of Israel,
hold not men in awe, but stand in awe of ME; and never barter
away MY messages for a trifling gain…..”
(From
Holy Qur'an 5/44)

There
are many verses appreciating the followers of Moses in glowing
words. In chapter 7 verse 159:
“And
among the people of Moses, there are people who take guidance
from the Truth and act justly in its light.”
(From
Holy Qur'an 7/159)
The
Qur’an does not condemn the Bani-Israel as a whole but
appreciates the submission of God-fearing people among them
in chapter 3 verse 113:
“The
people of The Book are not all alike: among the followers
of earlier revelations there are upright people, who recite
GOD’s messages throughout the night, and submit themselves
to HIM”
(From
Holy Qur'an 3/113)
The
gates of lost glory are still wide open for you. The Qur’an
has a universal message for you and for all the people of
the Book. It states in chapter 5 verse 69:
“Those
who are Muslims, who are Jews, the Sabeans, the Christians
– all who worship One and Only God, and are conscious
of accountability, and conduct themselves righteously, on
them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.”
(From
Holy Qur'an 5/69)

Once
again I would request you all to study the Holy Qur’an
in its heavenly language directly. The Arabic language is quite
alive as well, and the Qur’an is historically in its original
form till date. There are many Jew scholars of Arabic in Israel
and other parts of the world. I believe, no Heavenly Revelation
preaches enmity and hatred. The Holy Qur’an has no mythology,
no superstition. It does not preach faith, but appeals to human
intellect and reason. However, I regret to say that some Muslims
interpret it to tarnish the image of other communities while
glorifying themselves. And that is a different story.
The
lost glory of Bani-Israel and God’s favor can be retrieved,
if the Jews of today study the Last Revelation objectively which
comes from the same source as came The Tablets, The Torah, The
Psalms and The Gospel. The only effective way I believe is,
to deprive the haters the use of their most successful tool
– misinterpretation of the Qur’an. You can re-present
them in its letters and spirit. The lost glory will knock at
your doors and politics of hatred will come to an end, Insha-Allah.
I hope my words will be taken in good spirit.
