Dear,
Hope you are already aware that the chief of ladies wing
of Qur’anic Arabic Learning Classes, Mrs. Shaheena
Khatib recently visited the USA on the invitation of the
Department of Education, United States, under the program
‘Religious Education in the US’. She was there
in the United States from May 14th to June 4th 2005. During
her stay she visited five main cities namely Washington
DC, Salt Lake City, Portland Oregon, Syracuse and New
York, where she participated in many meets and addressed
many gatherings. Along with this she also presented the
papers on various subjects based on her research on The
Original Revelation of The Final Testament, Holy Qur’an.
The research papers are here for your further persuasions.
She
attended the meets at all levels of the educational institutions
of the US, from the ministry of education to the different
religious educational centers of Muslims, Christians,
Jews and Hindus. She actively participated in the dialogue
with the heads of Christians, Jews and other faiths. She
made fruitful discussions with various human right activists
as well.
The
central theme of all her activities was to enhance, promote
and to convey, as to what the Holy Qur’an says on
various topics discussed there. It is her firm belief
that for all problems a person, a group, a society or
a nation faces, no doubt-there are directives in the Final
Testament. One should lift himself above wishful commentaries
and study the Revelation in its original heavenly language.
We are very humbly hopeful with The Almighty that HE will
accept all her efforts and reward her in her worldly life
as well as the eternal.
Here
we are providing her research papers and her introduction
for further studies. Thanks.
INTRODUCTION
I
am Shaheena Khatib from Nagpur in Central India. Professionally
I am a lecturer in Physics in a reputed college. Taking
off time from my teaching activities, I manage Ladies
Wing of the Qur’anic Arabic Learning Classes that
has a well-organized network in India covering almost
all the sections of the Indian society.
My
colleagues and I firmly believe that all the heavenly
revelations carry the same call to Monotheism based on
Prophet Abraham’s doctrine as stated in the Final
Testament, The Holy Qur’an chapter 16/123, and 6/91.
We also strongly feel that heavenly revelations should
be studied directly and independently without the wishful
commentaries and explanations based on politics, history,
traditions and customs of any ethnic group or community.
According
to Verses 5/69 and 46/9, the Holy Qur’an and the
teachings of Prophet Muhammad do not offer a new message.
Nor do they propound any new religion at all. It is only
the revival of the original and common message, all the
Prophets and Messengers of the Almighty God ever taught
and practiced.
The
humanity traces its origin to one man, Adam, who was created
by One and Only One GOD. The human life follows a common
natural law of birth and death. It will all come to an
end on a Final Day called the Dooms Day. Logically all
heavenly revelations must carry one fundamental message.
I believe, it is still there if the revelations are studied
in its original form with an unbiased mind. It is very
much stressed in Verses 2/62, 5/69 and at other places.
All
the heavenly revelations always carried similar messages
preaching human values, freedom, equality, human dignity
and morality. To inculcate these golden traits in the
coming generation and to impart them to the masses, we
teach Qur’anic Arabic, so that a person may himself
or herself know what the realities are! For common people,
we have a 200 hours course where as for school and college
students, we have prepared syllabi keeping in mind the
diversified needs of the different societies in our vast
country.
I
am of the opinion that one should adopt a secular approach
while imparting knowledge. There are many religions in
the world which are further divided into numerous faiths
having rigorous infighting among them. So the educational
pattern should focus on moral upliftment of the society
and human values without highlighting divergent traits
of different faiths. Religion is a personal matter of
an individual. Religious education for students should
be a concern for the family. School education should aim
of teaching, not preaching.
Besides
Qur’anic Arabic Classes, we try to convey the heavenly
messages by periodical discourses, audios and videos and
by our website. Currently we are planning Online Classes
to teach Qur’anic Arabic. A long journey is ahead
of us. I am here to study the educational pattern, style
and approach in the US and seek your co-operation in this
endeavor. Attached is the sheet of above referred verses
of the Holy Qur’an and its English translation on
the following page.
“And
lastly, WE have inspired you O Muhammad: ‘Follow
the doctrine of Abraham, who turned away from all that
is false, and was not of those who ascribe divinity to
aught beside ALLAH;”
(From
Holy Qur'an 16/123)
“These
are all the Prophets whom ALLAH has guided. Follow, then
O Mohammed, their guidance, and declare: ‘No reward
do I ask of you for this Qur’an, behold, it is but
an admonition unto all mankind!’”
(From
Holy Qur'an 6/90-91)
“Those
who are Muslims, who are Jews, the Sabeans, the Christians
– all who worship One and Only God, and are conscious
of accountability, and conduct themselves righteously;
on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.”
(From
Holy Qur'an 5/69)
“O
Mohammed, proclaim: ‘I am not a new one among the
messengers of ALLAH, nor do I know what will be done with
me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to
me, and I am but a plain warner.”’
(From
Holy Qur'an 46/9)
