DOES QUR'AN TEACH COMMUNILISM?

[ The Verses under objection from Non-Muslims because of politically oriented interpretation by biased Muslim scholars and communal behaviour of the Muslims ]

These objections are raised against some verses of the Holy Qur’an. We will first mention the reference numbers and then its English translation.

Objection-1: It is on Chapter 9 Verse 28, the translation follows.

"O you have attained to faith! Those who ascribe divinity to aught beside ALLAH are nothing but Najas (polluted in ideology): so they shall not approach the Inviolable House of Worship (Ka’ba in Makkah) from this year onwards. And should you fear poverty, then know that in time ALLAH will enrich you out of HIS bounty if HE so wills. Verily ALLAH is All-knowing, Wise."

This verse is in the Arabic language which is the language of many a country. Its meaning can easily be ascertained. Our rendering of the verse may also be confirmed.

The Creator of this vast Earth and the human race had commanded HIS worshippers to build a House for exclusive worship of HIM. The historical record of this House is traceable from the Prophet Abraham’s times, spreading over a period of about five thousand years. Those who are accustomed to worship idols, icons, graves of the eminent personalities, living or dead objects, symbols of their superstitions, the Jinn, the artistic creations of their fertile imagination, the planets, the objects of Nature, the lofty mountains, the mighty rivers, the tall trees etc have nothing of their interest there at the Sacred House of the One and Only GOD.
In analyzing the above quoted verse, following points are considerable: a). The Mushriks (polytheists having irrational religious beliefs and worshipping countless things beside one GOD) have been called Najas (polluted in ideology about GOD) by their Creator.

b). HE wants them to keep away from the Inviolable House of Worship as there is nothing for them to worship.

c). ALLAH assures the faithfuls that HE will compensate the loss, monetary or other, caused by the prohibition of their visit.

The Creator of this Earth has sanctified a little patch of land for HIS Sacred House for worshipping HIM Alone. HE has also proposed a visa for the visitor. It is just reciting a short sentence. And that is: " There is no God except Allah; and beside all HIS Messengers Mohammad is HIS Messenger." If one asserts belief in it, his Creator allows him to visit HIS House.

Objection-2: It is on Chapter 9 Verse 5, the translation follows:

"And when the sacred months are over, fight with those who ascribe divinity to aught beside ALLAH wherever you may come across them, and take them captive, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every conceivable place. Yet if they repent, and take to prayer, and render purifying dues, let them go their way: for ALLAH is much forgiving, a dispenser of grace."

As usual, a part of the verse is mentioned in the objection. In order to analyze the whole, we reproduced the complete verse followed by our analysis. The verse raises many questions which must be researched; otherwise it will generate doubts on the Divine attributes of ALLAH, Who is the Lone Cherisher, Sustainer, and Creator of the whole Universe, and to HIS Mercifulness and Forgiveness for HIS creation.

When the same GOD is commanding a group of HIS creatures to take such terrible action against another group, then our intellect requires clarification. To analyze the matter, let us consider the following questions.

a). Is this order being given to general Muslims?
b). Is this an injunction without any condition?
c). Who are these polytheists? Where did they come from?
d). Which are the forbidden months? Why is it advised to wait till they pass off?
e). Why the order to take action is held up on their repentance?
