DOES QUR'AN TEACH COMMUNILISM?

Objection 8: It is on Chapter 8 Verse 65, the translation follows:

"O Prophet, inspire the believers to conquer all fear of death when fighting, if there be twenty of you who are patient in adversity, they might overcome two hundred. And if there be one hundred of you, they might overcome one thousand of those who are bent on denying the truth, because they are people who cannot grasp the truth."

The Prophet of ALLAH had to bear the responsibility of commanding the armies to face forced wars upon him. Here the commander of the army of the faithful is being advised to encourage the armed faithfuls to repulse a forced attacked on them. During such circumstances who would object to such encouragement to the warriors of own force?

Objection 9: It is on Chapter 9 Verse 29, the translation follows:

"And fight against ‘Ahle-Al-Kitab’ (those provided with the Book earlier) who despite having been vouchsafed revelation - do not believe either in The GOD and the Last Day, and do not consider forbidden that which The GOD and HIS Messenger have forbidden, and do not follow the religion of truth which ALLAH has enjoined upon them, till they agree to pay the exemption tax (Jizyah) with a willing hand after having been humbled."

When politics overcame the Arab and the non-Arab tribes and divergent communities entering freshly in Islam, we find them levying taxes upon their non-Muslim subjects exploiting the word Jizyah. It has become a dark part of their history. We should think whether our GOD would be pleased to allow a section of HIS creature to extricate tax from less fortunate section of HIS creatures. Let us enlist here the questions that arise in our minds.

a) Is Jizyah to be realized by Muslim rulers from all kinds of non-Muslim subjects?

b) If not, then is it to be taken from in Qur’anic terms, ‘The People of The Book’, means the Jews and the Christians?

c) Is it to be taken from all kinds of Jews and Christians without any distinction?

d) How will it be spent?

e) After taking this tax what responsibilities fall upon the shoulders of the rulers?

f) What are the advantages and disadvantages of this tax for those who pay it?
