DOES QUR'AN TEACH COMMUNILISM?

When we start our re-search in The Book, the RESULTS we get are as under:

a). The necessary information is there in the Verse itself. Any such order related to battle goes to the army or commander-in-chief of the armies, not to general masses. The wars are fought between two warring forces.

b). Condition is very much evident in the Verse itself. It is to let pass-off sacred months. Till then, this action cannot be taken.

c). For the solution of the word “Mushrikeen” (Polytheist), we have to go back to its preceding verses. The verse in question is 5th and to find out the truth, we have to go back from where the whole affair begins. It is from the first verse (Chapter 9 Verse 1) in which there is an announcement of the one-sided annulment of a treaty

Then in the second verse (Chapter 9 Verse 2), there is a provision of substantial concession of a period of four months, while the situation demands a quick attack soon after the cancellation of the treaty.

In the third verse (Chapter 9 Verse3), announcement is given openly and loudly from an important place so every body should know it. Further there is a provision of option to the enemy to shun their enmity for their own benefit. ALLAH very much dislikes shedding of blood unnecessarily on the earth.

In the fourth verse (Chapter 9 Verse4), it is evident that the announcement is for those enemy forces who had agreed to a no-war pact, but soon violated it. Whoever is the enemy, whatever is the treaty, if the enemy does not break any clause of the treaty and does not support any other enemy, one must abide by the agreement strictly. ALLAH is averse to breaking promises and violating treaties.

d). In the third verse there is a word ‘The big Day of HAJJ’. This occurs every year in the month of Zul-Hajjah. One can take it simply 4 months of warning so the humanity may learn to live in peace and realize its importance. There is a chance that the tension may also relax in these four months. For these sacred months of ‘no-war’, it is mentioned in the same Chapter 9 Verse 36:

"Behold, the number of months in the sight of ALLAH is twelve months, laid down in the Decree of ALLAH on the day when HE created heavens and the earth; out of these, four are sacred..…”"

From the traditions of the Prophet, it is clearly understandable that these sacred months of no-war fall according to moon calendar, Zi-Qa’dah (11th), Zul-Hajja (12th), Muharram (1st) and Rajab (7th).

But unfortunately this rule was more violated than obeyed. The height of the disobedience is that even the present day Muslims remember this verse less and care least to act upon it. Had it been so as ordained by ALLAH, one-third of a year on this earth would definitely pass peacefully.

e). Not to take action till the months pass off, is for the realization of the error committed by the opponent, so they can rectify and reform themselves accordingly. The whole motto behind is clear; to establish peace and avoid confrontation. GOD has an aversion to shedding innocent blood on the Earth.

It is also important to note that the address is entirely directed to the Muslim armies. The imperative verbs are in plural number in all the verses. Orders for war are collective in nature. But in this volatile condition, for an individual, personal action follows in the very next verse. This verse is a clear proof that the Qur’an is not a book of Muslims but it is the Book of the Cherisher of the worlds and the Master of the Universe which contains a message of peace for all humanity. The Master of all of us has immense Mercy over all HIS creatures. Here is the verse:

"And if any of those ‘Mushrikeen’ (Polytheist) seek your (singular) protection, grant him protection till he might hear (some of) the Words of The GOD, and thereupon convey him to a place where he can feel secure. This is because they do not know the facts"
Is it possible to find in any other book of the world dealing with matters of war that instead of attacking stray and lonely enemy soldier, shelter should be provided to him and a safe passage to his camp, shielding him from any possible stray attack? Such instruction can only be found in the Book of The GOD of all mankind, The Most Merciful and Loving. Why should HE order some of HIS servants to take harsh action against a group of HIS helpless creature?
